Position Summary:

The Mold Remediation Technician is responsible for providing mold remediation services to our customers. The ideal candidate would be high energy, detail oriented and customer focused.

Responsibilities:

· Locate the source of moisture by using moisture meters, thermal imaging and other specialized equipment.

· Visually inspect the property to determine what is involved, implement testing procedures if conditions warrant.

· Isolate the contaminated area and remove the mold while protecting the surrounding areas from the possible spread of mold spores.

· Dry the affected area to ensure the water source is removed.

· Cleaning all components of ducts, air handlers and condensers.

· Conscientious work habits to support detailed, fine cleaning including vacuuming, brushing, and damp wiping surfaces and building contents.

· Perform project cleanup, bagging, and removal of debris to job site collection bin or vehicle for haul off.

· Strong customer service focus and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

· Must be able to work in personal protection equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection.

· Ability to work with/around cleaning products.

Essential Functions:

The Mold Remediation Technician must be able to exercise good judgment and carry out written and verbal instructions. Your job responsibilities also include extended hours as an essential function of your position because company workloads are subject to change regularly.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
